
BUILDINGS INSURANCE
This policy carries a £100 excess on all claims and £1,000 excess on claims for damage by subsidence, landslip or heave.
Standard risks covered for buildings and contents insurance plus damage to landlord's property as a result of:
- Theft or attempted theft following violent and forcible entry.
- Escape of water from tanks and pipes.
- Storms and floods.
- Impact, collision, aircraft.
- Escape of oil and smoke damage.
- Riot, violent disorder or civil commotion.
- Subsidence, landslip or heave.
- Falling trees, telegraph poles & lamp posts.
- Fire, lightning, explosion or earthquake.
- Falling radio or TV aerials*

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS FOR LANDLORDS
- £1 million property owner's liability. Accidental breakage of fixed glass, solar panels, sanitary fixtures and ceramic hobs.
- The cost of repairing accidental damage to oil pipes, underground water supply pipes, sewers, drains, underground gas pipes and electricity cables.
- Increased meter water charges resulting from escaped water.
- Loss of rent as a result of an insured peril, and/or additional costs of alternative accommodation.
- Expenses incurred following damage to the buildings by any of the perils covered.
CONTENTS INSURANCE
The policy provides comprehensive contents insurance cover for occupied properties and carries a £50.00 excess.
