UK Cover: Roadside Assistance & National Recovery and Doorstep - Up to 1 hours Roadside Assistance. If the vehicle is not repaired or at your Home address (doorstep) at the roadside recovery to a garage/ your home/onward destination of your choice within the UK (National Recovery) or up t £100 to cover the cost of a hire car, overnight accommodation or public transport.

European cover: Roadside Assistance, National Recovery, Doorstep & Continental - Up to 1 hours Roadside Assistance. If the vehicle is not repaired at the roadside or at your home address (doorstep) recovery to a garage/your home/onward destination of your choice within the UK and Continental Europe.

Breakdown Service Benefits and Limits

If your car breaks down on the continent then Europ Assist will provide roadside assistance, recovery to the nearest suitable garage, and car hire or hotel accommodation if your car cannot be repaired the same day. We will also arrange repatriation of your car and passengers to the UK, if repairs cannot be completed before the end of your trip.

For over 40 years Europ Assistance has been helping motorists in difficulty. With an extensive European network of over 15,000 approved garages and recovery specialists, Europ Assistance is the natural choice for your European car breakdown.

In case of an emergency, one call to their UK 24 hour alarm centre is all it takes to put their team of multi-lingual co-ordinators into action. You explain the problem and they talk to the mechanic on your behalf so you won't need a phrase book.

If you have a breakdown or accident overseas then you simply call Europ Assistance and they arrange for an approved mechanic from their European network to provide roadside assistance recovery. They will cover the cost of £250 emergency labour charges at the roadside, and any call-out and towing charges. If you cannot continue your trip within 24 hours then they will pay for accommodation whilst you wait or for a replacement hire car or the cost of public transport if you decide to continue your journey.

Cover includes Cars, Motorcycles, Motorised Caravans, Light Vans, Estate Cars, 4 x 4 sport Utility vehicles. Vehicles must be less than 15 years old and must not excess a gross vehicle weight of 3,500kg, a length of 7m, a height of 3m and a width of 2.25m.
